MLE Advisory Pty Ltd
Website Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the MLE Advisory website and the services described on it.
MLE Advisory Pty Ltd operates under ABN 66 672 108 913 and is a registered tax agent with registration number 26280677. In these terms, “MLE Advisory”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MLE Advisory Pty Ltd.
By using this website, submitting an enquiry or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms where applicable.
These website terms do not replace a separate engagement agreement or other written terms agreed with you for professional services.
2. Our services
MLE Advisory provides accounting and taxation services, including:
The availability and scope of each service depend on your circumstances and our agreement with you.
We will confirm the scope of work, applicable fees and any relevant conditions before commencing paid work.
- •Individual income tax return preparation and lodgement.
- •Tax assistance for sole traders and small business owners.
- •Tax returns involving rental properties.
- •Assistance with outstanding tax returns from previous financial years.
- •General taxation information and consultations.
- •Other accounting and bookkeeping services agreed separately.
3. Free 30 minute consultation
Our website may offer a free 30 minute online consultation with a qualified accountant or tax specialist.
The consultation is intended to help us understand your circumstances, answer preliminary questions and explain the services that may be appropriate for you.
The consultation does not automatically establish an ongoing professional engagement or include the preparation and lodgement of a tax return unless we expressly confirm otherwise.
We will discuss the proposed fee before commencing paid work.
The advertised value of the consultation is a promotional reference and does not represent a guaranteed monetary saving.
We reserve the right to reasonably reschedule consultations or amend promotional offers where necessary.
4. Fees and payment
Individual tax return preparation is advertised from $250, subject to the scope and complexity of the work.
The final fee may depend on matters such as:
- •Your income sources and deductions.
- •Rental properties, business income or other investments.
- •Outstanding returns from previous years.
- •The quality and completeness of your records.
- •Additional work required beyond a standard individual tax return.
We will confirm the applicable fee with you before commencing the relevant paid work.
Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be discussed with you before it is undertaken.
Payment terms, due dates and any applicable deposits or other charges will be communicated as part of your engagement.
5. Client information and responsibilities
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information relevant to your tax affairs.
This includes disclosing all relevant income, deductions, investments, rental property information, business activities and other information reasonably required to prepare your return.
You must review the information and documents we provide for your approval and tell us about any errors or omissions before lodgement.
You must also respond to reasonable requests for further information and provide any necessary authority or consent for us to act on your behalf.
We may rely on information you provide unless we become aware of circumstances that require further enquiries.
We may delay work or decline to lodge a return if essential information is missing, inconsistent or requires clarification.
6. Tax return preparation and lodgement
We will prepare tax returns using the information available to us and apply reasonable care in providing our services.
Where appropriate, we will provide a return for your review before lodgement.
You remain responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and accurate. Our professional responsibilities as your tax agent are not removed by this requirement.
We will lodge your return after obtaining any required approval and authority.
A return is not considered lodged merely because you have booked a consultation, supplied documents or received a draft return. Lodgement occurs when the return has been submitted through the relevant system.
We cannot guarantee that the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) will accept every claim, deduction or position, issue a refund or process a return within a particular timeframe.
The ATO makes its own assessments and decisions under applicable taxation laws.
7. ATO deadlines and extensions
Tax return lodgement deadlines depend on your circumstances and the applicable ATO requirements.
Our website may advertise assistance for people who have not lodged their 2026 individual tax return by 31 October 2026.
Where you engage MLE Advisory before the relevant deadline, we will assess whether you qualify for an extended lodgement date under the applicable ATO tax agent lodgement program.
An extension is not automatic in every case. Eligibility may depend on the applicable program, your circumstances, prior lodgement history and other ATO requirements.
Booking a consultation or submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, establish that you are an MLE Advisory client or secure an extended deadline.
You must provide the information and authorisations we reasonably require to establish an engagement and assess your eligibility.
We do not guarantee that an extension will apply or that penalties will never be imposed.
Where an extended deadline is unavailable, we will explain the position to you as soon as reasonably practicable.
8. Tax advice and professional obligations
Information published on this website is general information only. It is not a substitute for advice based on your individual circumstances.
Taxation laws, ATO requirements and administrative practices may change. Information on this website may not reflect every change or apply to every taxpayer.
Any specific advice will depend on the information available, the scope of the engagement and the relevant taxation laws.
MLE Advisory will provide tax agent services in accordance with its applicable professional and legal obligations.
9. Communication and electronic services
We may communicate with you by telephone, email, online meeting or other agreed electronic means.
You agree to provide accurate contact details and notify us of material changes.
Electronic communications and online meetings may be affected by technical failures, delays, interruptions or security risks outside our reasonable control.
You should not send sensitive information through an unsecured channel unless we have confirmed that the method is appropriate.
10. Website use and intellectual property

You may use the website for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without permission, except where permitted by law.

11. Third party websites and services
Our website may contain links to third party websites, including government websites.
We do not control third party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Your use of third party services is subject to the relevant provider's terms and conditions, and you should review those terms before relying on any third party service.
